No, it's not available yet. Despite the positive new results with SRT-1720, Sirtris is not putting it into clinical trials because the company believes another of its resveratrol mimics, SRT-2104, is more promising. That drug "is more suitable for human consumption," said David Sinclair of Harvard Medical School, an author of de Cabo's report and a co-chairman of Sirtris' scientific advisory board.

Hi there -

I'd be curious to hear where you come-in on the research and development of the ageLOC approach to anti-aging science?

It appears to me that Dr. Richard Weindruch (LifeGen Technologies) and the collaborative scientists from Nu Skin Enterprises, Inc. (Pharmanex), Stanford University, Purdue University, and other top anti-aging research scientists, are making advances in identifying the sources of aging and influencing "gene-expression".

Why don't people want to get into the whole anti aging thing? It's good to age, it's certainly better than the alternative. As long as you look after yourself, do your exercises and keep a healthy diet, you'll age with grace.

It would be nice to have a multi-product anti-aging pill like for multi-vitamin pills. That way the pharma companies could combine all the important anti-aging products like resveratrol, astragalus, grapeseed, querceten, etc. in carefully calculated quantities to meet our anti-aging needs.
