I concur Marcus, everything in moderation. Whenever we over endulge in things, that is what gets us in trouble. The trick is nowing what takes us over the edge. I believe goals help us determine what is over the top and what is moderate. I like ice cream and I a bowl almost every day. I hope by eating it during times when I know I will be active, that I can burn of some calories. You really have to focus on what you do, how you do it, and when you do it. That will determine how it affects your body. Just acknowledging that you have a problem is a start to understanding how to correct it.

Yes, I have heard of many fat burning or muscle gain foods and even anti aging foods that are supposed to be good for skin care, and one example is of olive oil, which apparently, because of the fact that it contains monounsaturated fat, is supposed to cause more muscle gain. But the thing to remember is that if you have too much, the excess calories will cause fat gain as well. So all in moderation.

Gigi, these fat burning foods are great, but some people are set in their ways and do not want to do an extreme change to help themselves out of a rut. I was over 230 lbs a year ago and very lissless. I had high cholesterol levels, and suffer from arthritis in my back. I did not know how to change my life. I went to doctors and they really did not help me. I took drugs and they did not help, just covered the symtoms. I was not will to go on radical diets or huge lifestyle changes. I have taking Monavie Active and Pulse for over a year now and going to a chiropractor. I now have more energy; I have found a way to exercise for 20 minutes a day that gives me better muscle tone and definition. I have lost over 30 pounds and been able to keep it off even during the holidays. My cholesterol has been reduced to under 200. I feel more alive now than I have ever been. There are simple ways to increase your health and live to be over 100. I believe there are four things people need to have to stay fit; A straight spine, good nutrition, good dental hygiene, and a nontoxic environment. All of these can be achieved and can also create an income stream for people. The world can recreate itself and give us much healthier lives. It is not a matter of extreme change, but of evolutionary change, one person, one houshold, one step at a time.
